Crooked Ways is a hard rock band from Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley. The group became a four-piece in 2018 after several years of guitarist Nick Gorrie and vocalist Zack Esposito performing acoustic shows in the greater Lehigh Valley area. Due to Crooked Ways' rigorous work ethic and wide range of songs and sounds that can fit on just about any rock-oriented bill, they began earning spots on national and regional act shows within months of coming together.
The band has been booked throughout northeastern US markets and venues, most notably in Pennsylvania at venues such as Penn’s Peak, the Sherman Theater, Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh, Reverb, and One Centre Square. They have also played festivals and larger-scale events, including Musikfest and the Electric City Music Conference.
The band has been featured on regional media outlets such as 69News/WFMZ live television, 97.9X, Service Electric Television, The Weekender, iRockRadio, and NEPA Scene, along with nationally-reaching YouTube music review channels; playlists curated by Loudwire, Jesea Lee (SiriusXM, SPIN Magazine), and various record labels; and media companies such as Jomboy Media. In addition, the band was nominated for northeastern Pennsylvania’s “Best New Band” at the Steamtown Music Awards. Crooked Ways has garnered a fan-base that spans the northeast with a particular draw for live shows in Pennsylvania and the surrounding region.
Their discography is comprised of their debut full-length album, Time To Panic (King Studios, February 21, 2020), their sophomore record, Totality (King Studios, October 15, 2021), and their most recent record No Design (Abbey Road Studios, King Studios, Soundmine Recording Studio, May 10, 2024).

In summer of 2024, the band was invited to be the first hard rock band featured on one of the region's largest television stations - 69News / WFMZ.
The feature took place over the course of an hour with multiple interviews covering a wide range of topics and three separate songs performed.
Lehigh Valley-based rock band Crooked Ways is once again proving that they are a force to be reckoned with, following the release of “No Design."
Lyrically, the band continues to prove that they are expert storytellers, putting the listener in the position of “watching” rather than “listening”. Following in your face, clear and concise instrumentation, Crooked Ways once again demonstrates that they are an unbelievably powerful and complex group, highly talented and capable of connecting with their audience, again putting them in the “drivers seat” of the album listening experience.
The vocals of Zack Esposito once again demonstrate his ability to adapt to any type of sound that the band is going for. “No Design” is sure to make my list of “Best Albums of 2024." Make sure you check it out!
